Online Workshop: Mining Waste Streams as the Potential Sources of Secondary Raw Materials

The need for critical raw materials is increasing rapidly in the EU and globally. At the same time, the amount of mine waste is increasing together with concerns related to the environmental effects of mining. Mining industry can achieve more eco-efficient and selective raw material production by enhancing the utilization of side streams and mine waste. The EIT RM Morecovery project aims to develop a commercial service for metal and mineral recovery from mining side streams.
